We are very passionate about tasty, good and honest food here at De Wilmersberg. Ronald Bor and his team prefer to cook with fresh, local, organic products. Vegetables are in the limelight, and can – but don’t have to be – accompanied by a lovely piece of meat or fish. We serve something for everyone!
Allow yourself a moment of ultimate indulgence and come and taste our delicacies. You can enjoy a culinary dinner in our restaurant until late in the evening. In the mood for something simpler? Have a lovely pasta, salad or hamburger in our lounge, which used to be the living room of the Blijdenstein family. Or order ‘Sneup & Snaaijerie’ – delicacies from Twente, inspired by Spanish tapas. In our restaurant, vegetarians are also spoilt.

From the moment Ronald Bor joined De Wilmersberg in December 2011, it was his goal to surprise vegetarians and flexitarians with delicious meals. As he puts it: "When I go out to dinner, it annoys me that my vegetarian friends cannot find the same love they can expect in their dishes. Some restaurants just don’t have the creativity and serve an obvious dish such as beer-battered mushrooms. Others apply the art of omission: a dish from the menu without the meat. It is my ultimate challenge to prepare vegetarian meals in such a way that the people who do not eat meat or fish are extra spoilt and do not feel disadvantaged compared to their fellow diners, which happens all too often. In our kitchen, we are creative and cook with a lot of beautiful, local products and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Of course, lovely meat and fish dishes are also on our menu.
De Wilmersberg is listed in Grootspraak 2019 and was assessed with five out of five bunches of grapes. According to hospitality experts Grootspraak is, besides Lekker, Michelin and Gault & Millau, one of the four guides that really matter in the Netherlands when it comes to good food and drinks.
