After the First World War
After the First World War, they built their beautiful country house here. This is the place where they felt at home and received many guests. Now almost 100 years later we continue the tradition of the Blijdenstein's with a lot of love. At a time when large hotel chains predominate and life is becoming increasingly individualistic, we see it as our mission to spoil our guests with a lot of love and attention in one of the most beautiful places of Holland. 'Noaberschap' is what we call it here; taking care of each other, that's what counts. Gerrit Komrij once said: 'Happiness is a second that wants to last for eternity'. We want to make those seconds, minutes, hours or even a few days. So that, with a warm memory, you drive down the country road in the rear-view mirror and look at it and think: 'That was lovely, we'll go back again'.
